Jesus, this is such crazy news. You never even really expect it to happen.
McDuffie’s work is close to my heart; I watched Justice League religiously and it gave me an interest in a whole fictional universe that probably would have bored me otherwise.
Between that, his seminal Milestone work, Static Shock, Ben 10 and so many other things, the man has brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. He’s gonna be missed. I’m really sad that I’ll never be able to thank him in person.
